Summary

La Digue Island Lodge, the largest hotel on La Digue, is located on the edge of Anse Reunion and is set in an exotic, tropical garden of coconut and takamaka trees. It has been designed to blend in with the surrounding natural environment with mostly thatched roofs. La Dique is the most photographed island in the Seychelles, laid back La Dique is a rustic retreat just 30 minutes by ferry from Praslin. The island is protected by the coral reefs that encircle it, together with the famed masses of pink grantine rock which seem to have exploded around the coastline. An aura of charm and tranquillity surrounds La Dique, and for years the way of life has remain unchanged. The pace of life is slow, so it is impossible not to relax. The resorts tropical gardens, spacious pool and gorgeous beach will help, dining is a relaxed affair with bare-foot creole barbeques

Restaurants and Bars

The creole style spacious and airy restaurant serves authentic Creole cuisine. It has a sandy floor with high appointed thatched roof overlooking the beach. Snacks can also be taken at the Pool Restaurant or relaxing at the swim-up pool bar

Accommodations

All rooms are twin bedded and equipped with:
Air conditioning, mini bar, television(CNN/RFO/SBC)plus In-House video/music channel, IDD telephone, hairdryer, shaver unit, tea and coffee making facilities. All have private bath and shower (shower only in some rondavel), patio or terrace (except Yellow House rooms).

'A' frame Chalets
The palm leave roofed wooden chalets offer spacious accommodation inside on two levels. Most of them are just a few steps away from the beach. They are ideal for a family of up to four, and children climb up the ladders to their own special beds on the upper level.

The Roundavels
These bungalows offer all the comfort on a nearly circular base with a palm leave roof.

The Villa Rooms
The Villa rooms are tucked away in a quiet corner of the gardens, each with a private verandah and all the interior comforts you would need. Selected furniture underlines the exclusive style of the apartments.

The Yellow House
This famous colonial house which dates from 1900 has been declared a National Monument of the Seychelles.
Thanks to careful renovations of the interior, there are now 8 rooms, each with a spiral staircase leading down to the bathroom with separate bath, shower and bidet.

The Suites
Enjoy the elegance of the suites with balconies overlooking the sea and Praslin Island. There are 4 rooms on the first floor and 5 on the ground floor. Four of the suites have a small room with a ceiling fan that is ideal for children.
